Halvard Klevmark is a Norwegian composer, lyricist and actor. He has a musical background in classical guitar, piano, opera and band. For several years he has created theatre productions for the youth and historical pieces for all. Recently he has set music to short films, and in one of them acted in a leading role.

“My interest in film music is quite new and originated in the short film “All that dies” that my niece Agnes Klevmark, made in 2022. She asked me if, in addition to having a leading role, I would also contribute with music. The collaboration turned out to be successful and in 2025 the film won awards for best director and actor at the Sevilla Film Festival.

I went on to compose music for two short films with very different expressions, and found it rewarding. Feedback from the organizers was also positive in such a way that it inspires to embark on new projects.”
