"Everything That Dies" is a story of a young woman who has lost her direction in life. She goes to the mountains where she meets a young man who is also struggling, through their encounter with an old man they start to find their way...

The musical contribution to this film starts with cheerful strings as the old and young characters are fetching water together, and then towards the end, simple notes accompany the old man as he walks into the mountains. In the last scene the theme comes back as to guide the young characters forward.
