The music in this extract from “When The Clapping Stops,” is my contribution to the Indie Film Music Contest 2026.
The piano in the opening scene refers to an older person, and the violin then connects the characters emotionally. The xylophone gives a teasing feeling. Furthermore, chimes create a clock pattern and as the electronic alarming layers shift, the feeling of further stress arises before the xylophone returns as a good memory, followed by heartbeat like bass with piano stripped down that ebbs away when all is lost.
